The Drainage Smart pot is an innovative plant pot that is characterized by its unique construction and properties. The pot helps optimize plant growth by allowing effective drainage. After watering, the moisture content of the soil increases, which causes the fine pores in the soil to fill up and makes it difficult for outside oxygen to get into the pot. This can lead to an oxygen-poor environment for the roots, which in turn encourages rot and suffocation.  

Depending on the soil layer, the drying speed varies. The top layer of soil comes into contact with the ambient air the fastest and therefore often dries out the fastest. The middle layer of soil has the lowest permeability and has the most contact with the roots. The lower layer of soil near the drain dries up quickly.  

To ensure efficient water drainage, the Drainage Smart pot can be equipped with drainage columns. The drainage columns allow water to drain away quickly while allowing air to enter through the pores around them. This encourages exposure of the roots to fresh air and allows them to grow healthily. The drainage columns have a detachable structure and can be easily replaced according to user needs. The main part of the pot can be equipped with different heights and spacing of the drainage columns to adjust the water flow. 

In addition, there are numerous air inlets around the waist of the pot, ensuring that the substrate does not fall out and maximizing the permeability of the pot. In combination with the two different drainage columns, perfect water drainage and permeability is achieved.
